Things are not always what they seem.

I can't believe this is February! This warm weather is amazing. I'm sitting in front of my computer, windows open, taking it all in. This unseasonably warm weather has me thinking about how "things are not always what they seem". I'm including a few of my favorite shots from wedding days where this was the case. Keep reading, you'll see where I'm headed.

As many of you may know, Sunset Pavilion at Brasstown Valley is a picture perfect spot. However, it can also be very windy. I was so thankful this couple was willing to brave the cold January winds on their wedding day. (I don't think it got above freezing that day.)

Rain on your wedding day? They say it's good luck, but hard for great photos. This bride was literally sitting in the falling rain. (Her hubby was close by, ready to jump in with the umbrella.)

This sweet couple had it all! Their Spring Break wedding had the best of everything; rain, snow, and lots of snuggles.

What's the point to all this? You can't control every aspect of your wedding day, no matter how hard you try. Make sure you enjoy it. Sometimes the best shots come from unplanned moments where all the right elements simply come together.
